Here is a picture of a snake can live in the high mountains of the Arctic Circle.

Which species of snake is it? How did you locate your answer?
This week's question came from one asked at the beginning of our unit as something we wanted to learn about snakes. Does the size of a snake play a role in how long it lives? While looking for sites to post for you to use, I didn't find one that gave an exact answer. I did find a few sites that you can INFER the answer to the question. Remember that means you can use the information gathered to come up with a conculsion on your own.
Snake Questions- 15th question down
This week's challenge question is How long does it take baby snakes to get their venom? I found the attached link had some great information on snakes! You can find the answer to your question under myth 3. Make sure you scroll down and read the whole thing. You could probably find LOTS of facts for your game from this website!
I have taught a few of the grades how to play this fun game.
SET is a highly addictive, original game of visual perception; a fascinating challenge for either solitaire or competitive play. To create a SET, a player must locate three cards in which each of the four features is either all the same on each card or all different on each card, when looked at individually. The four features are, symbol (oval, squiggle or diamond), color (red, purple or green), number (one, two or three) or shading (solid, striped or open). Age is no advantage in this fast paced family game. SET is great fun for the whole family because there is no previous knowledge required.
