Happy Spring!

We are looking forward to a month of learning about insects, our Earth, blends, and addition! Please make note of the following important dates:

• Thursday, April 2nd- PICTURE DAY! Individual and class pictures will be made at this time.Please send in one dozen filled eggs for our egg hunt!
• April 6th- 10th- Spring Break- No School
• April 16th- Fire Safety Program

Please remember to send in 10 snacks for the snack bucket. Thank you.

March News

Thank you for checking our blog! To conserve paper I will be updating our blog with class news instead of sending out newsletters. Please make note of the following important dates:

• Monday, March 2nd- We will celebrate the birthday of Dr. Suess by Reading All Day, wearing our pajamas, and cooking and eating green eggs and ham!

• Tuesday, March 3rd- Early Release Day with 12:10pm dismissal (We will have sack lunches in our room.)

• Friday, March 6th- Fire Escape plan due

• Thursday, March 19th- Report Cards come home; please sign and return the signature card;Chick-Fil-A night

• Thursday, March 26th-We are going on a field trip to Kennesaw Mountain High School to see the play Charlotte's Web. If your child brings a lunch from home, make sure that it is in a sack with your child's name on the outside. Please do not send in glass, thermoses, or tupperware. We will throw everything away after our picnic.

Please send in 10 snacks for our snack bucket! Please continue to practice the 40 GKIDS sight words!

Happy February!

Please make note of the following dates and events:

Feb. 9-13- Please bring in Valentine cards for our friends! We have 16 students! Remember to have your child sign his/her name to the back of the cards.

Feb.13- Valentine Centers at 9am; Smile Power in-school field trip presented by Wellstar- learning about dental health

Feb. 16-President's Day and Teacher Inservice day- No School for the children

Feb. 20-Six Flags Reading Logs Due- you will receive your Six Flags ticket with your final report card
