Homework 9/24-9/28

Please make sure your child is studying during the week for the spelling and root word tests.

Monday:  Math- worksheet 7.3 (model multiplication on 9-26), Reading- read for 30 minutes, Language Arts:  noun worksheet (lesson 4), Social Studies:  ( all S.S. will be due on Friday) Civil War reading comprehension and Pre-Civil War map

Tuesday:  Math- complete the odd problems on worksheet 7.3, read 30 minutes, complete persuasion map, read for thirty minutes

Wednesday:  Math- worksheet 9.2, Language Arts:  Noun worksheet- lessons 5 and 6, read for 30 minutes

Thursday:  Math- review for test on modeling multiplication and division of decimals, study for spelling test on Wordly Wise words lesson 6 and root word test, read for 30 minutes

Friday- read for 30 minutes

Open House

Thank you to everyone who was able to come to open house last Thursday.  I am very thankful to have a class full of supportive parents.  I am excited about teaching your children this school year!  Please let me know if there is anything I can do for your child.

September 10-14 Homework

Monday:  decimal worksheet, read for 30 minutes

Tuesday:  math practice worksheet, p.12 worksheet on plural nouns, read for 30 minutes

Wednesday:  math p. 127- 10-23 all, read for 30 minutes

Thursday:  read for thirty minutes, study for government test, root word test, and spelling test

Friday:  read for 30 minutes

I will be posting homework weekly on my blog for your convenience.  Due to the pacing of the fifth grade content, homework may change.  Your child is responsible for writing all homework in his or her agenda each day.  Thank you for your support!

Fundraising for a good cause....

Chick-Fil-A biscuit sales begin on Friday, August 24th.  Biscuits will be sold every Friday (except during testing) and will cost $2.50 per bisquit.  If you write a check, please make it out to Bullard Elementary School.  Remember, money earned from biscuit sales benefit Bullard Elementary's Relay For Life team--thanks for your support during the 2007-2008 school year.
